Responsible Gaming

Keep the mayhem on the stage, not in your life

Important Notice

When the amps are cranked, it's hard to hear anything else. Gambling can turn into an addiction, and if Inferno Mayhem has started to burn through your money, your rest, or your relationships, kill the volume and ask for help. Support is playing around the clock, and no one has to face the noise alone.

Signs of Problem Gambling

  • Spending more money than you can afford to lose
  • Neglecting work, family, or other responsibilities
  • Chasing losses by gambling more
  • Borrowing money or selling possessions to gamble
  • Lying about gambling habits
  • Feeling anxious or depressed about gambling
  • Being unable to stop or reduce gambling

Tips for Safe Gambling

Set a Budget

Set a hard cap you can afford to lose before the first riff, and don't push past it.

Set Time Limits

Inferno Mayhem rages for hours. Put a clock on the set and walk off when it ends.

Never Chase Losses

Cranking bigger bets after a loss just fuels the fire. Let the run end and step off.

Take Breaks

Leave the pit often. A breather keeps your head clear between songs.

Self-Assessment: Is Gambling Affecting You?

Step away from Inferno Mayhem for a minute and answer each honestly. They're based on the Problem Gambling Severity Index (PGSI). If you answer “yes” to 2 or more, consider reaching out to one of the groups above.

1

Have you bet more than you could afford to lose in the past 12 months?

2

Have you needed to gamble with larger amounts of money to get the same feeling of excitement?

3

Have you gone back another day to try to win back money you lost?

4

Have you borrowed money or sold anything to get money to gamble?

5

Have you felt that you might have a problem with gambling?

6

Has gambling caused you any health problems, including stress or anxiety?
